Internship Program 2025
Engelhart’s Internship Program is a unique opportunity designed to provide a strong basis for a role within the commodities industry, and to identify and develop people who have the desire to become active players in the company.
We are looking for approximately 15 interns across our Stamford, Houston, London, Berlin and Geneva offices.
Undergraduate Internship 2025
This is a rotational programme where you will have the opportunity to work across front, middle and back office. You will be exposed to the financial trading and analytical aspects of the global commodities industry and work on the Power, Gas, Oil or Agriculture trading desks.
You will be able to provide support to your respective team by playing an active role in tasks and projects. We will offer a hands-on learning experience, allowing you to develop skills relevant to your field of study and make meaningful contributions to both your team and to Engelhart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating closely with your allocated team to actively contribute to ongoing projects or activities within the department
- Engaging in market research and analysis and developing associated models
- Assisting with communication among team members to achieve common goals and objectives
- Actively participating in training opportunities and workshops to enhance skills relevant to the internship
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field of study
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and add value to the group
- Ability to efficiently analyse large quantities of information/data from multiple sources with a strong attention to detail
- Previous experience or involvement in financial services is advantageous
Potential Locations based on candidate’s location and work authorization:
Stamford, Houston, London, Berlin, Grenoble and Geneva.
Duration: 6-10 weeks

Graduate Internship 2025
During your internship you will be exposed to the fundamental components of the global commodities industry in front office areas such as trading, weather analysis, modelling and analytics.
We will offer a hands-on learning experience, so you will be able to provide support to your respective team by actively participating in tasks and projects. This will allow you to develop skills relevant to your field of study and make meaningful contributions to both your team and to Engelhart.
During your Internship, you will be paired with a more experienced professional as a mentor. This is to help you transition into your new role and provide you with the tools and resources you need to be successful.
